Taylor Brandt

Instructor

Growing up in Vail, Colorado, Taylor developed a love of skiing and backpacking at a very early age. At two years old , she started her ski career, attended a ski academy 6th through 12th grade, competing internationally. Ski racing allowed her to train and race worldwide, bringing her to places like New Zealand, Switzerland, Italy, and Canada.

Before her senior year of high school, Taylor moved to California and fell in love with big mountain skiing. Her passion for the mountains brought her to Bozeman and Montana State University where she is studying Environmental Studies and English Writing. She spend last summer with the Montana Conservation Corps on a Wildland Restoration Crew. This past winter, she interned for the Director of Sustainability at Bridger Bowl, spearheading an environmental education signage project.

She is excited to join the MOSS team in engaging kids with hands-on learning in nature. Outside of school and work, Taylor can be found skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, making chocolate chip cookies, or playing cards. Taylor’s favorite hiking buddy is her dog Cheyenne, who sadly is back home in Colorado with her mom.
