Kendal Pittman

Program Director

Kendal grew up exploring the woods of Western Massachusetts. Her love for environmental education began with a wilderness semester program in high school and eventually inspired her to study elementary education at Middlebury College. She has taught students of all ages in classrooms, on farms, in the woods, and in the desert. Regardless of the topic or location, she loves working with students outside to enable them to develop positive relationships with nature, others, and themselves. Kendal’s work in environmental education is inspired and informed by her favorite hobbies – thru-hiking, trail running, rock climbing, and biking.
