MOSS offers Summer Camps and Discovery Walks to engage kids and families in educational scientific explorations in the natural world. With camps and hikes for all ages on topics from engineering in nature to landscape photography, we're bound to have something for you and your young scientist.
2018 Summer Camps
Registration for 2018 opens March 5th at 8 am! Member registration begins one week prior.
We have added several new sections of popular camps this year. Even with these additions, we may be unable to accommodate everyone. Please join a waiting list for a program in which you may be interested - spots open up as the summer approaches and those on the waitlist are accepted in the order in which they were received.
On the first day of a MOSS Summer Camp, instructors lead students in the creation of expectations for safety and respect, which we foster with encouragement and positive reinforcement. If a student’s behavior presents a concern for their safety or the safety and enjoyment of others, consequences may include removal from all or part of activities or permanent removal from the program. In such a case, no refunds will be made and the student may be precluded from participating in future MOSS experiences.
Cancellations made up to 31 days prior to the program start date will be refunded, minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made 30 or fewer days before program start date will not be eligible for a refund. This includes no-shows, withdrawals, or illnesses. If MOSS cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment or other unavoidable issues, we will do our best to place your child in another program or provide a full refund.
