Winter Wonderland Science

Monday, January 23, 2017 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $60 MOR members/$65 non-MOR members

Play in the snow while learning all about winter science! Get up close and personal with snow and ice and explore the science behind the season. 


Crocodilians, Reptiles and Amphibians, Oh My! (Spring Break)

Monday through Friday, March 13-17, 2017 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $250 MOR members/$275 non-MOR members

Join MOSS this Spring Break for an exciting week focusing on science topics taken from the rotating MOR exhibit Crocodiles: ANCIENT Predators in a Modern World! Students will learn all about crocodiles, reptiles and amphibians alive today, as well as their ancient ancestors! Meet some real, live reptiles and amphibians and get outside, while having fun with science.


MOSS STEM Challenges

Thursday and Friday, April 6 and 7th, 2017 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $60 MOR members/$65 non-MOR members

MOSS presents a camp brimming with hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) challenges guaranteed to stretch, stimulate, and satisfy your brain! Get ready to build, create, solve problems and have fun.


Home Sweet Habitat

Friday, May 26th, 2017 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $60 MOR members/$65 non-MOR members

Where do different animals live? What types of home do they create and why? Figure out what lives where and how amazing animal homes can be! Join us to discover what might live underground and all around. Activities will focus on the diversity of local habitats and students will even create their own animal habitat!

 

 

Registration is open for all camps!


All campers will need the following supplies*:

  • Rain jacket
  • Healthy sack lunch
  • Water bottle 
  • 2 healthy snacks
  • An extra warm layer
  • Shoes appropriate for course activities - please include snow boots for outdoor activities, if appropriate, and a change of shoes for indoor time.  

*The weather in Montana during this time of year can be inclement and unpredictable. It is your responsibility to properly prepare your child to play and learn outside.  For the safety and comfort of the group, classes will move in and out-of-doors at the instructors' discretion.  Thank you for helping us accommodate your child's needs.     

 

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds are allowed up to 30 days prior to the start of a program, minus a $50 administrative fee.

No refunds will be issued for “no shows,” withdrawals, or illnesses within 30 days of the program start date. 

We do our best to adhere to program schedules.  However, if a program is cancelled for any reason, full refunds will be issued.  Under special circumstances, MOSS reserves the right deny enrollment to a student.
