MOSS offers quality educational PIR day programming throughout the school year! Get outside with MOSS while exploring the wonderful world of outdoor science.

Wonderful Winter Animal Adaptations

Did you know that there is a frog that freezes almost solid to survive winter and then thaws out in the spring? How do other animals survive the long, cold winter? Come learn about the wonderful winter adaptations used by animals in Montana!
Spring Break Messy Science!
Monday, March 12th- Friday March 16th, 2018 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $60 MOR members/$65 non-MOR members
Explore the exciting world of chemistry and physics during this week long spring break camp with MOSS. Prepare to be amazed at hands-on science experiments! Set up experiments, record data, and be a real scientist for the week! We'll also get outside and explore how nature uses chemistry all around us. '
Thursday, April 12th and Friday April 13th, 2018 | 9:00am - 3:30pm | $60 MOR members/$65 non-MOR members
Did you know that the strongest living creature on Earth is an anthropod? Anthropods make up the largest group of creatures in the animal kingdom. Come observe, interact with and even hold anthropods while discovering what they are and what they do!
Registration is open for all camps!
All campers will need the following supplies*:
- Rain jacket
- Healthy sack lunch
- Water bottle
- 2 healthy snacks
- An extra warm layer
- Shoes appropriate for course activities - please include snow boots for outdoor activities, if appropriate, and a change of shoes for indoor time.
*The weather in Montana during this time of year can be inclement and unpredictable. It is your responsibility to properly prepare your child to play and learn outside. For the safety and comfort of the group, classes will move in and out-of-doors at the instructors' discretion. Thank you for helping us accommodate your child's needs.
Refunds are allowed up to 30 days prior to the start of a program, minus a $50 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued for “no shows,” withdrawals, or illnesses within 30 days of the program start date.
We do our best to adhere to program schedules. However, if a program is cancelled for any reason, full refunds will be issued. Under special circumstances, MOSS reserves the right deny enrollment to a student.
