MOSS is proud to present school programs that feature a placed-based, inquiry approach to education. Our units are customized to fit the needs of your students and classroom. All units are founded in the Montana State Curriculum Standards for Science with an eye towards both the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
MOSS comes to YOU! Programs range from a one-time experience to a semester or multi-season project. Our programs connect indoor lessons with outdoor investigations of the local landscape and school grounds. Highly trained MOSS instructors have backgrounds in both science and education, each bringing a passion for outdoor science to your students and classroom. All our lesson plans also focus on using an inquiry approach to actively engage students in the learning process using the 5-E model of inquiry teaching.
MOSS can provide multi-day overnight residential camp experiences.
