20th Annual Watershed Festival

  • Montana Outdoor Science School 4056 Bridger Canyon Drive Bozeman, MT 59715 (map)

The Watershed Festival & Fishing Derby is an annual event dedicated to promoting awareness and responsible stewardship of the diverse natural resources found within our watersheds. The event is co-hosted by MOSS and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. In 2016 the event attracted over 2,200 people - especially kids who LOVED the fishing derby!

The Festival will be held on June 9, 2018 from 9:00a.m. –2:00p.m. at the Bozeman U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fish Technology Center on Bridger Drive. It's just below the "M" on the road to Bridger Bowl.

There will be fly casting lessons, a BBQ and snacks, face painting, duck races, and the incredibly popular fishing derby for kids. Keep two rainbow trout from the Center's thriving fish pond - cleaned on site!  Fun for the entire family.
