Meet our Office Staff!

 Steve EshbaughSteve Eshbaugh, Executive Director

Steve enthusiastically joins the MOSS team. He comes to us as the former Director of the Center for Environmental Education at Miami University (OH).  Steve has previously served as Executive Director of the Montana Environmental Education Association, and has over 25 years experience as an environmental educator. He holds a Masters in Environmental Education and a bachelor’s degree in Botany.

Kelly A. Valentine, Director of Development

Kelly brings her heart, mind, and hard work to the MOSS team. She is excited to promote awareness of the outdoors, develop engaging programs, and change lives, one student at a time. Her prior experience includes serving as a fund development officer for local mentoring programs and a director of client relations for high-need school systems across the country.  Kelly received her M.A. in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management and her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication. Kelly loves everything about the beautiful Montana outdoors including skiing, hiking, and keeping her fun-loving dogs, Stella and Hans, out of trouble.

Brad BenneBrad Benne, Director of Programs

Brad Benne is thrilled to be joining the MOSS team. His previous experience includes; teaching elementary students at experiential and outdoor education schools in Ohio, directing a park district in Wisconsin, sales, marketing, and business development. Brad received his B.A. in History from Butler University and his M.S. in Recreation Administration and Experiential Learning from Aurora University.  Brad’s favorite activity is spending time outside with his family.

 Natalie Gilmer, Finance Manager

Natalie cheerfully joined the MOSS team in January 2011. She holds a Master’s of Professional Accountancy from Montana State University.  Her experience includes: work as a staff accountant at a large CPA firm in Portland, OR where she focused on non-profit organizations, managing grants for a science outreach project at MSU, and managing finances at the Children’s Museum of Bozeman.  She has two young boys and a handsome husband who keep her very busy.
